The scoffers and the mockers don't believe the earth will end
They say that life will always be the way its always been
They don't believe the Bible is God's message to mankind
Yet this is what each one of them eventually will find
Jesus will return without warning as a thief
When the majority of humanity will be spiritually asleep
The heavens will disappear and the earth will be destroyed
But for those who remain true, there is reason to rejoice
The righteous will prevail, but the ungodly won't be there
In the new heavens and the new earth that God prepares
The deniers and defiers will not seek to find the truth
They have their own perspectives that they are holding to
With hardened hearts and blinded eyes and carnal thinking minds
This is what each one of them eventually will find
